Executive Report:
The President reported that there have been two meetings of the Judiciary this year. Clubs are reminded about players with warning cards that the total accruable amount is 10 points (Red = 10, Yellow = 5, Green = 2). Clubs may request a list of their players with warning cards from the Secretary.
There have also been several umpiring issues which clubs not using appropriately badged umpires on games. Clubs are reminded about the umpiring protocols and procedures of how to handle certain situations.
SEPL Report:
The Umpires Convenor noted that a Tech Bench would be useful at SEPL Games as there seems to be poor practices in place regarding match cards being available for umpires to sign and the pitch being watered between matches.
REP TEAMS REPORTS
Vets: ED1 needs more players for championships. All 4 teams are doing well in the SWHL competition.
State League: Were runners up at the Championship weekend
Opens: Due to washed out games and count backs were placed 6th
U18s: Won their competition – the meeting congratulated the Coach and Manager – David and Emma Ratcliffe.
Briony Nilan reported that Hockey NSW surveys have been completed for each team and that four EDWHA girls have been selected for AHL and U21s.
Treasurers Report:
The bank account is very healthy - $46339.14 as at 15/7/10. However we have not paid any field hire as yet. We are waiting on the Registrar to provide final registration numbers so adjusted invoices can be prepared. Clubs are asked to assist with providing their player numbers to the Secretary to expediate this process.

Clubs were asked to start considering an umpires roster for umpires in 2011 rather than umpiring your own games.

The timetable for the Finals Series is:

Matches to be scheduled to provide club days and games will start at 9am and run at 90 min intervals. Matches may be delayed if there is extra time in minor semis.
Sunday, August 22nd Finals
12.30pm Grade 4
2pm Grade 3
3.30pm Grade 2
Matches may be delayed if there is extra time.
Sunday, August 29th Grand Finals
Times to be advised and will be in 2 hour intervals to allow for extra time and presentations.
Clubs reminded we will need umpires and tech benches for all of these fixtures.
The state of the lighting at Kyeemagh was discussed, the Fixtures Convenor would raise these concerns.
Registrations
Cubs should provide their finals lists to the Registrar cc President and Secretary by July 31st. Any appeals for exemptions will be required by 7/8/10.
Club reports:
Dolphins – will have new shirts this weekend, colours have not changed
General Business:
Briars requested an explanation of the process of review for their recent umpiring matter. They would like to know whether the process undertaken was within the rules and why the penalty was classified as a late forfeit.
